The Courthouse room pricing policy
Our
pricing policy is designed to enable a wide range of community groups
to use the Courthouse. If you need further information- please don’t

Community and Charity use
The Courtroom
£13.50 per hour - evening and weekends.
£11
per hour - weekdays.
(Standard rate £13.50 weekdays / £16.50 evenings and weekends)
(Commercial rate £16.50 weekdays / £22 evenings and weekends)
An extra charge of £7.50 per hour if sound or light is used
Additional one-off charge of £25 if staging / raked seating is required
We can provide lighting and sound technicians for an extra charge if required
This room seats 131 people (200
standing).
Regular users may be eligible for a discount on these rates – please contact us.
Private parties can be held at the Courthouse for a flat fee of £150 for the hire of the Courtroom and its bar. Wedding receptions £175. Extra charges for sound / lighting / staging as above. A refundable deposit of £200 is also required.
Children's party hire is available from £30 for a 2 hour party which includes child sized tables and chairs and time for parents to set up.

Concessionary rates
Generous concessions are available to:
• New and emerging community groups – in their first
year of use
• Groups entirely made up of, and run by, young people (to
age 18)
• Community groups with no regular source of income, the majority
of whose members are claimants.
